Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using Vista Appliances's appliance repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

Services Description

Vista Appliances provides professional appliance repair services for luxury and high-end appliances in the New York metropolitan area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, New Jersey, and Westchester County.

Our services include but are not limited to: diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and consultation for refrigerators, freezers, ranges, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, wine coolers, ice makers, and other household appliances.

Service Appointments

Scheduling

Service appointments can be scheduled through our website, by phone, or through our online booking system. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred appointment time, subject to technician availability.

Cancellation Policy

We request at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.

Access Requirements

You agree to provide our technicians with safe and reasonable access to the appliance(s) requiring service. This includes ensuring adequate workspace, removing obstacles, and securing pets during the service visit.

Pricing and Payment

Service Fee

A diagnostic service fee of $89 applies to all service calls. This fee covers the technician's visit, inspection, and diagnosis of the appliance issue. The service fee is waived if you proceed with the recommended repair.

Repair Estimates

After diagnosis, you will receive a detailed estimate for the repair, including parts and labor costs. No repair work will begin without your written or verbal authorization.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash. For larger repairs, payment plans may be available upon request.

Warranty

All repairs performed by Vista Appliances are covered by our 1-year parts & labor warranty. This warranty covers both parts and labor for repairs completed by our technicians.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Issues unrelated to the original repair
  • Damage from power surges, floods, or other external factors
  • Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear
  • Repairs performed by unauthorized parties after our service
  • Pre-existing conditions not disclosed at time of service

Parts and Components

We use genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts whenever possible. In some cases, high-quality aftermarket parts may be used and will be disclosed to you before installation.

Replaced parts become the property of Vista Appliances unless you request to keep them at the time of service.

Limitation of Liability

Vista Appliances's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for:

  • Incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of food or other perishables
  • Damage to property not directly caused by our negligence
  • Delays caused by parts availability or circumstances beyond our control
  • Pre-existing conditions or undisclosed issues

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
